UD students sit around a table at the Biden Institute while visiting with President Joe Biden.

Prioritizing the UD student experience on campus through programming

Students of any major have the opportunity to participate in our events, suggest potential topics and guest speakers, apply for our awards and internships, be a member of our Student Advisory Council, or take our Biden Institute Seminars.

We partner with student organizations across campus, including the Blue Hen Veterans, and provide specific programming for students who have served our country.

President Biden began his career in public service in his twenties and has always believed in the power of young people. The student leaders on campuses across the country reinforce this belief, which is why student collaboration plays an integral role in the story of the Biden Institute.

A platform & resource for student ideas

As the University of Delaware's commitment to diversity states, we see diversity as a core value and a guiding principle. Students from all academic disciplines and a wide range of perspectives are welcome and encouraged to engage the Biden Institute to create a dialogue around the policy areas that are important to them.
