Biography
Zoē’s research is at the intersection of society, technology, and sustainability, where she works to maintain a consistent focus on community well-being and priorities through transitions. Her work utilizes mixed-method approaches to understand diverse, interdisciplinary topics related to energy service and security, regional planning and coordination, industrial heritage, equity, and justice. She uses principles of energy justice and urban planning alongside social science approaches to collaborative research to connect communities, science, and policy to address better the gap between policy implementation and positive outcomes for frequently underserved or otherwise disenfranchised communities.
