Biography

Casey Taylor is an Assistant Professor in the Energy and Environmental Policy Program in the School of Public Policy and Administration. She received her PhD in Environmental Sciences from Oregon State University in 2016 and completed a postdoctoral research position at in the Department of Political Science at Idaho State University in 2018. Taylor's research focuses on how stakeholders, communities, and government institutions interact in the creation and implementation of natural resource policies and management plans. Specifically, she uses a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods to analyze the roles played by science, trust, and collaboration in decisions surrounding wildlife management, water quality management, and energy facility siting.
