The Joseph R. Biden, Jr. School of Public Policy and Administration at the University of Delaware​ is ranked in the top 13% of public affairs graduate programs in the United States by U.S. News and World Report.​ The Biden School ranks #34 overall among 271 national public affairs schools and is ranked in several specialty areas.

According to The Wall Street Journal, the University of Delaware ranks #26 overall among 500 colleges and universities nationwide and #10 out of 235 among the best public universities.

The University of Delaware ranks #26 overall among 500 colleges and universities nationwide and #10 out of 235 in best public universities, according to The Wall Street Journal’s 2025 WSJ/College Pulse best colleges in the U.S. rankings. The 2025 rankings reflect immense growth in UD’s accomplishments and reputation, rising from #86 overall in the nation in the 2024 survey

In the 2025 edition of Best Graduate Schools, U.S. News and World Report ranked the University of Delaware's graduate programs among the best in the nation.

The Biden School's Master in Public Administration (MPA) program is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration (NASPAA).
