See below for a preview of some of the courses offered at the Biden School this summer.
LEAD100 Leadership, Integrity and Change
LEAD100 introduces students to the challenges of leadership. An experiential practice-based change project will provide hands-on experience in applying the skills and practices of effective leadership to create positive change.

First Session (June 9 to July 11)
LEAD125 Personal Finance
LEAD125 gives students an overview of the concepts and skills in personal financial management, including an understanding of how leaders impact the financial environment of individuals, families and communities. Topics include developing financial goals, budgeting, debt, savings, retirement planning and investing in insurance, stocks, bonds, and mutual funds.

First Session (June 9 to July 11)
LEAD200 The Leadership Challenge
LEAD200 introduces students to leadership challenges in an increasingly complex, global, and fast-paced world. It provides the theoretical basis of leadership while encouraging the development of personal leadership potential.

Second Session (July 14 to August 14)
LEAD300 Leadership, Creativity and Innovation
LEAD300 provides students with the theoretical bases of leadership, creativity, and innovation that inform the effective practice of leadership.

First Session (June 9 to July 11)
LEAD340 Leadership Internship
An off-campus supervised and coordinated field study in selected agencies and organizations. LEAD100 prerequisite is required.
3-6 credits
7-Week Session (June 9 to July 25)
UAPP325 Public Policy Analysis
UAPP325 introduces students to the basic principles and concepts of policy analysis. Practice application through case study problem-solving.
3 credits
First Session (June 9 to July 11)
UAPP467 Data Analytics Using Excel
UAPP467 introduces students to the comprehensive process of analyzing data and producing outputs that inform decision-making.
