Meghan Lapointe

Job Title:  Land Use Coordinator, Town of Hampton Falls, New Hampshire

Meghan Lapointe is a Land Use Coordinator for the Town of Hampton Falls, located on the seacoast of New Hampshire. In this role, Meghan works with several volunteer boards and committees within the Town, most notably the Planning Board and Zoning Board of Adjustment. She also manages the town website, maintains records of meetings, and assists applicants appearing before the Planning and Zoning Boards. 

Meghan began her journey at the University of Delaware, earning a B.A. in Public Policy (2021) with minors in Educational Studies, Legal Studies, and Organizational and Community Leadership. This foundation led to her interest in the Master of Public Administration Program (2023) at the Biden School. While in the MPA program, Meghan worked as a Judicial Fellow with the State of Delaware Administrative Office of the Courts, conducting research, helping rewrite policies, and working on a team to produce the 2023 Delaware Behavioral Health and Criminal Justice Integration Summit.

As an MPA student, Meghan also served as a Summer City Management Fellow for the Town of Smyrna, which cemented her interest in local government work. She also worked at the Center for Research in Educational and Social Policy (CRESP), where her research, Community Engagement Terms and Meanings: A Deeper Dive into Definitions, was published.
