Kelsey (B.S. '14, M.P.A. '18) is a Management Analyst at the Edward J. Collins, Jr. Center for Public Management at UMass Boston. Her research interests include the digital divide, co-productive policymaking, and comparative public administration. She has also published on Sister City relationships. She is a mixed methodologist with a special emphasis on computational social science methods. Kelsey holds a PhD in Public Policy and a Master of Public Policy from UMass Boston, and a Master of Public Administration and Bachelor of Science in Organizational and Community Leadership from the University of Delaware. She is an avid traveler and enjoys all things outdoors.

Kelsey had the following to say about her time as an undergraduate Organizational & Community Leadership major:

"I cannot commend the University of Delaware’s OCL program enough for preparing me for the blended career path I am pursuing in non-profit management and social entrepreneurship. The Leadership program equips its students with the progressive and transferable skill set necessary to elicit change in a community that many other more traditional and static academic programs lack.

From traveling internationally with Professor Middlebrooks so we could present our collaborative research, to being honored with the Leadership Innovation Award, to accepting a job offer months before graduation, I have had unparalleled life experiences that I am positive no other educational platform could provide. I feel fortunate to have spent my four years of undergrad constantly learning about myself and others, motivated by my professors, and inspired by those around me."
