Job Title: Chief Strategy Advisor, Delaware State Housing Authority (DSHA)
Caitlin Del Collo received a Master of Arts in Urban Affairs & Public Policy from the University of Delaware (UD). As a student, she was affiliated with the Institute for Public Administration (IPA), working in the Conflict Resolution Program and Women’s Leadership Development Program. Before obtaining her graduate degree, she also served as a Legislative Fellow to the Senate Majority Caucus during the 2014 legislative session. Caitlin now serves as Chief Strategy Advisor at Delaware State Housing Authority (DSHA). Within that role, she advances strategic partnerships and initiatives that further DSHA’s mission of directly providing and supporting others to share quality affordable housing opportunities with low- and moderate-income Delawareans. Caitlin works in the Policy & Planning Section, representing DSHA on boards and commissions such as the Racial Equity Consortium. Her duties include presenting findings from the 2023 Housing Needs Assessment and collaborating with other agencies on affordable housing initiatives. She has nine years of experience working for the legislative branch, including positions with the Delaware State Senate, where she most recently served as Special Projects Director , and the Colorado General Assembly. Caitlin credits the Legislative Fellows Program with launching her career into public service.
