Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Programs

Disruptive technologies like artificial intelligence, space exploration, gene editing, autonomous vehicles and many others are fundamentally reshaping the economic and employment landscape. The World Economic Forum sites as many as “65% of children entering primary school today will ultimately end up working in completely new job types that don’t yet exist.” In such a rapidly evolving landscape, possession of an entrepreneurial mindset and skillset are critical to successful adaptation and highly valuable to employers. These undergraduate entrepreneurship programs support the development of entrepreneurial mindset and skillset in UD students.

My involvement in Horn Entrepreneurship through the Delaware Innovation Fellows program, entrepreneurship courses and venture-support programs has been amazing. They taught me how to network and connect with my community, how to create long-lasting and impactful change, and how to create opportunities for myself and others. I’ve been able to work for and with great companies. I would recommend it to everyone.

May 29, 2024 | Written by Heni Patel
Devina Patel won the March Horn Hen of the Month award. She is a sophomore at the University of Delaware, with a double major in finance and financial planning, a minor in trust management, and has a certificate in entrepreneurship leadership.

As a freshman through Horn I already feel so involved and aware of the opportunities that are surrounding me. It is so comforting knowing that I am involved in such an inspiring and creative program!
