I grew up in northern New Jersey with my brother and parents. My parents are originally from England where I still have many family members. From an early age my brother and I were exposed to a large variety of outdoor activities by my parents and as a family we would go camping, skiing, and we eventually tried scuba diving in a pool in the Florida Keys. This lead to the start of my diving career at age 11 and I never looked back. Diving inspired me to pursue my undergraduate degree in Marine Science which I earned from the University of Connecticut in 2016. After earning my undergraduate degree, I proceeded directly into graduate school where I am currently pursuing my PhD in the Warner Lab at the University of Delaware. While at UD I married my high school sweetheart who is now my number one dive buddy and supports me in all my research endeavors.
