Case History
The patient is a pregnant female who is 33 years-old. She is 39 weeks into the pregnancy. The blood sample was obtained through a routine venipuncture in the delivery room.

Differential
    Neutrophils = 61%
    Bands = 3%
    Myelocytes = 1%
    Eosinophils = 4%
    Basophils = 1%
    Lymphocytes = 22%
    Monocytes = 8%
Questions
1. What is(are) the potential interfering substances occurring in the non-white blood cell area?
2. Examination of the peripheral blood smear indicated the presence of 458 NRBCs/100 WBCs. What is the corrected WBC count?
