May Grilling Event

The April Grilling Event was so much fun that we’re having another event this Sunday!  We will be grilling Barbeque Chicken and Marinated Zucchini.  It will be the most delicious thing you’ve ever tasted.

 

Date:  Sunday, May 2, 2010

Time:  1 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. 

Place:  Kells Park (Go down Academy St. away from Main St. Turn left onto Kells Ave. Go past the soccer field and you’ll see us grilling.)

 

As always, feel free to bring a blanket so you have something to sit on or some sports equipment if you play something once you’re finished eating.

T-Shirt and Recipe Update

We’re working on getting the T-shirts ready for sale (probably $10 each) and the website updated with lots of great grilling recipes.

T-Shirt Slogan Chosen!

At the November meeting, we voted and decided that the logo on the T-shirts will be “Chillin and Grillin”.  The t-shirts should be available soon!

September Meeting Recap

For our first meeting of the semester, we had a huge turnout of about 70 people.  After voting, it was decided that we will be serving steak and chicken kabobs with pineapple and corn on the cob at our first event, which happens to be on Sunday.

 

Also, we talked about the T-shirts and slogan contest (see below).

 

The RSO Olympics were briefly mentioned, but as far as I can tell the only point of mentioning them was to tell everyone that we don’t have any information about it yet.
