Tour of “Treasures/Tesoros/Tesouros: The Arts in Latin America, 1492-1820”

09:50 am. We meet at the Philadelphia Museum of Art West Door

10:00 am. Joseph Rishel, head curator of the exhibit, will talk to us about the organization and preparation of the exhibit

11:30 am. Mónica Domínguez will remark some important items on display

12:00 pm. Students tour the exhibit on their own (Audio Tour included)

Please Note:

Ø Bring pencils for note taking in the galleries. Pens are NOT allowed in the galleries

Ø Photography or sketching in exhibition galleries is prohibited. All the pieces on display are reproduced in the exhibit catalogue. Any additional photos needed for the colloquium will be arranged through the PMA office of External Affairs.

Ø Coats and large bags must be checked before entering the exhibition area.

Ø A copy of the exhibit catalogue will be available at the Art History Graduate Student lounge (121 Old College) from the afternoon of Wednesday Sept. 20^th.
