mythical/religious figures associated to natural elements. According to David Leeming, they can be classified under the general
archetypes of the goddess and the hero. Taking into account the particular
stories associated with the sacred entities illustrated below, discuss how
these two particular pieces embody these contrasting archetypes, and explain
the ideas they transmit in relation to the particular religious cultures for which
they were created.
