Yet More Clues...

Chris Morrison uncovers another nefariously planted clue.
I think everyone has overlooked what seems to be further evidence that Paul was the only Beatle to live through the group's career. At the end of "Cry Baby Cry" on the white album, Paul sings a ghostly bit of a song that says "Can you take me back where I came from? Can you take me back?" I used to think this was the echo-y voice of Paul singing to us from beyond the grave, wishing he were still alive. I now realize Paul was trying to tell us he missed his three original comrades. He must have snuck this snippet into the master tapes for the album as his way of saying he wanted to return to the early days of the band, when he and the others were still a group, rather than the hodge-podge of pretenders and lookalikes.
