Doug Hosier's Lennon Questions

I would like to ask some questions to beatle fans concerning the death of John Lennon.

Beatle fans:

1. Can you remember exactly what you were doing when John Lennon was shot? What was your emotional response?
2. What did his death mean to you personally?
3. On that fateful day on December 8th of 1980 the whole world mourned. What was it about John Lenon that provoked such worldwide grieving? Would the response have been the same if it had been one of the other Beatles?
4. Can you think of anyone today whose death would provoke the same world wide outpouring of emotion?
