Interactive On-Line Project

Class members will participate in (or initiate their own) On-Line project. This interactive project must be conducted over the Internet and involve at least 1 class in the school. Your product will be a 4 to 6 page paper including a description of the project; timeline for completion; manner of collaboration between the LMS, classroom, and teacher; the curriculum connection according to the state or district Curriculum Standards; results (or results anticipated).

Short Position Papers

Using on-line resources and primary resources in print form, participants will write 2 short papers (3 to 5 pages) on the following issues:

Participants will address each issue giving an unbiased report to discuss the topic and then will take a position that reflects their views on the problem (in the concluding portion of the paper). The position taken must be supported by pertinent data that the student has explored in the paper.

 

Professional Development Project

Draw up a plan for professional development workshops in your school using the Internet and conducting research on-line. This paper (4 to 6 pages) should include skills:

Final Project

Write up a proposal (6 to 10 pages) for automating library functions or for migrating to a new system. Include:
