The podcast commentary presents an overview of the opportunities available to composition students at UD. The folk tune performed by UD composition students Gracin Dorsey (mandolin) and Tyler Avis Capp (banjo) is "Old Joe Clark".

The composition masterclass features American composer David Lang, with UD composition students Tierney O'Brian, Joshua Green, Adam Baumol and Kevin Cope.

The ensemble featured in the recording session, with Prof. Andreas Meyer, UD Adjunct Professor of Music, is Relache. For more information on Relache please visit www.relache.org. Also featured in the recording session is American composer Cynthia Folio.

The conducting lesson features the University of Delaware Symphony Orchestra, M.Mus. in Composition student Jeremy Beck and Dr. Brian Stone, Director of Orchestral Studies.
