Angela Hoseth, Curator, University of Delaware History Media Center

Angela Jo Hoseth graduated cum laude from the University of North Dakota, B.A. Anthropology, 1983; B.S. Geography, 1984. Served as an archaeologist for the University of Delaware Center for Archaeological Research from 1984-1995, crew member (1984-1985), crew chief (1985-1989), Research Associate III (project manager 1989-1993), interim assistant director (1991 and 1993) and technical editor (1993-1995). Served as History Media Center secretary from 1995-1999 and has held the position of curator of the History Media Center since December 1999. Serves on the University of Delaware Women’s History Month Film Series committee since 2000 and is a member of the University Emergency Response Working Group since 2008.

Co-author of sixteen archaeological technical reports published by Delaware Department of Transportation, New Jersey Department of Transportation and the Archaeological Society of Delaware. Created graphic and photographic materials for several University of Delaware Department of History professors for their books, articles, presentations and lectures. Administered a $50,000 Unidel Grant for the History Education Program in 1999-2000.  Filmed, edited and/or produced five short-form documentaries since 2009 including The Corporate Greenhouse produced for the University of Delaware Geography department which won an award in 2009 from the University of Delaware Environmental Institute's Student Environmental Sustainability Day video contest.
