Course Description
 Ornithology is defined as the study of birds and we will study how birds have evolved and how they accomplish life. The world has approximately 9800 species in the class Aves which is divided into 29 orders and 187 families. This course is designed to familiarize us with all aspects of avian biology with a focus on diversity, evolution, form and function, behavior, communication, reproduction, and conservation of bird species.
