I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Geography. I am a military
brat, so I'm not from anywhere, but I have
lived several places. These include:
California, Florida, Virginia, and Minnesota. After
getting a bachelors degree in Meteorology, and
having an internship at Oak Ridge National Lab
I decided that grad school in Climatology was
for me! I finished the masters degree and am
now working on the Ph.D.. My research interests include
snowfall, snowcover, teleconnections, synoptic
scale climate, and forecasting on a seasonal
scale. I am married to the most wonderful guy
(who makes the best cookies) and have 2 cats. :)
