PIKE CREEK VALLEYLIONS CLUBWilmington, Delaware
EYE EXAMS The Pike Creek Valley Lions Club receives many phone
calls each year from people in need of eye glasses with no available means to
pay for them. After receiving the appropriate documentation proving
need, our program chair makes contact with an area optometrist to schedule an
eye exam and if needed, arranges the necessary appointment for an eyeglass
fitting. Our club helps numerous people each year, both young and old,
improve their reading skills with new eyeglasses. We have helped
children improve their reading ability, seniors clearly read their medication
labels, and have helped the elderly become more independent all because of a
