For my final project, I wanted to continue with the theme of mapping.
I was inspired by the concept and form of Josh On's theyrule.net, which maps connections between the board members of large companies in the United States.
I wanted to look at connections on a much smaller scale- what I have in common with my Facebook friends.
Being a part of Facebook, you are linked to a variety of different people that you call your Facebook "friends", when you may have only spoken to them a few times in person.
I was interested to see how much I had in common with my Facebook friends, so I chose thirteen friends- ranging from relatives to best friends to acquaintances- and researched information given on their Facebook pages.
My research resulted in a map of connections, which allowed me to see I share more with some people than I would have expected.
