UD Classroom and Meeting Facilities available in Dover

Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD's Dover campus

Leaders from the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Delaware in Dover (OLLI Dover) recently announced that classrooms and meeting facilities in their new building are available for reservation by UD departments and other non-profit entities.

Centrally located at the College Business Park in Dover, the OLLI Dover facility officially opened in July 2016. Although the facility’s primary function is to provide classrooms for more than 45 courses and meeting rooms for OLLI Dover’s 250 members, the versatile space and its state-of-the-art audio/visual equipment serve as valuable resources for other organizations.

Other UD departments, divisions, and programs—especially those that cater to statewide audiences—as well as non-profit civic, educational and cultural entities located in central Delaware are welcome to submit applications to use the OLLI Dover facilities. There are no fees for other UD departments to use the facility, but non-UD entities must pay $100 a day. Additional charges apply if OLLI Dover employees must staff the building.

Anyone requesting use of OLLI Dover facilities must submit an online facility use application. All requests for facility use must be approved in advance by the OLLI Dover management. To learn about scheduling priorities, organizational requirements, logistics, and booking procedures, please review the OLLI Dover Facility Guidelines and Use Requirements.
