About

The University of Delaware Equestrian Team is one of the largest club sport team on the Delaware campus. It is comprised of about 115 active members who vary in skill level; from never riding a horse to competing nationally on the A-Circuit. Every member's riding discipline differs; from western pleasure, gaming, eventing, dressage, hunters, jumpers, to simple backyard riding. Whatever your involvement with horses is, we want you to join!

UDET competes in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association in all divisions from Walk Trot through Open Jumping and Walk, Jog through Open Reining. Each semester the team host's a Huntseat and Western 'Home Show,' and invites schools from surrounding areas within their zone to compete. As a member of UDET everyone is required to attend the four home shows that we host over the course of the year to assist in making the shows run smoothly.
