Meeting Minutes February 18, 2002 I Radio Show at 7:30 on Tuesdays on WVUD,
91.3FM. this week is about droughts. II March 13th at 1:30pm, there is a tour of
the Stroud Water Resource Center, contact Emily,
eska@udel.edu III Recycling Committee will meet on Monday
nights at 9:00 PM (After general S4E meetings). We will meet in the Blue and Gold Room of Perkins, and
sometimes we will move to the Scrounge if needed. IV Left of Center submissions to
mtjkjk3@hotmail.com submissions of 300-500 words about
anything you want, but hopefully focused on 9/11 or political wonter
sessions. Left of Center is a trial
publication to offer a more leftist viewpoint than our only University
newspaper – The Review. V LGBSU having LGBT Awareness week April
20-26th. -On April 20th, Spring Bazaar,like a fair on the Harrington
Beach. There will be performers, bands, and tables set up for
RSOs to do things. -Ideasfor our table: -button-making ofpretty animals or MrStickerguy.com -roll up old magazines to make pen jars -make can-shakers from cans and beads or other things -hemp necklace making table -Maybe that night we'll do something interesting for Earth
Day VI Recycling Umbrella Letter was signed
yesterday by college democrats This is to improve recycling on campus,to show people that
more than just S4E cares. VII Last week, we made Valentine's Day card to
Carper to tell him to support the bill that says not to drill in the National
Arctic Wildlife Reserve. It
had pictures of people in polarbear suits, etc. VIII We also handed out
more surveys of recycling to be handed out.
