We will be focusing on 2 local
campaigns this semester. Interest was expressed
for...
- a continuation
with the Fair Trade Coffee campaign
- further
work with recycling on campus with investigation into business practicies on
Main Street
- a bio-fuel
campaign
If anyone has any further ideas or
interests, don't hesitate to email any of the officers (emails on
website).
We will aim to publish "Left
of Center" by the end of the semester. Start thinking about what you want
to contibute!!! Email Erin (VP) at ecord@udel.edu if you
have any questions.
Our informal Sunday hikes will continue
on the weekends...we'll let you know when one is coming
up!
T-SHIRT ideas! We will be
ordering by November!
Our new liason will be Melissa
Forte (mforte@udel.edu).
She will be working to strengthen bonds with other RSOs on campus this semester
and will be helping to coordinate activities with other groups.
Our new DC specialist/lobbying
coordinator will be Lauren Asprooth (asprooth@udel.edu). She will be monitoring activities in DC that we
could be a part of and will be planning lobbying events for our group. She
will also be researching different issues that are on the table in DC for
discussion.
