Tour of DuPont

 

SAMPE-UD President Amanda Lim and Faculty Advisor Prof. John W. Gillespie Jr. organized a tour of DuPont to give our members a unique opportunity to witness DuPont’s ballistic research facilities in action. On November 12, 2007, around 60 delegates including SAMPE-UD members, UD Faculty, UD Graduate and Undergraduate Students, and CCM Research Professionals toured the DuPont facility in Wilmington, DE. The tour allowed DuPont to showcase their wide ranging research and facilities, and also served as a recruitment drive for the students in attendance. The tour was followed by a pizza dinner and provided everyone with a chance to personally meet with the employees at DuPont.
