Tour of Bally Ribbon Mills

On September 25, 2007, SAMPE-UD members toured Bally Ribbon Mills in bally, PA to see first hand the full scale production of nylon, Kevlar, and other high performance fibers. Afterwards, the group was treated to a pizza dinner and interacted with the employees. Curt Wilkinson from Bally Ribbon Mills served as the tour guide. The tour was open to only U.S. citizens and due to security restrictions, no photography was allowed.
