Seminar I: Intro to Composites and Wet Lay-ups

For this seminar students are to be introduced into the world of composites. This includes their various uses, processing parameters, and material characteristics. Following the talk students take part in wet lay-up processing. Here mixed resin is mechanically forced into fiber mats before vacuum bagged to the table to remove excess resin.
