Chris Christie- NJ Gubanatorial Candidate
Chris Christie is ready to lead New Jersey into a new era of prosperity and honest government. Mr. Christie was born in Newark NJ and has lived his whole life in New Jersey. A 1984 University of Delaware graduate, he earned a law degree from Seton Hall University and became a partner at Dughi, Hewit & Palatucci law firm in Cranford. Throughout his law and political career, Christie has dedicated himself to fighting crime and corruption in the state of New Jersey.
Christie was first elected to public office in 1994, when he defeated the incumbent to become a Freeholder in Morris County. In December 2001, he was nominated by George W. Bush to be the U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey and was unanimously confirmed by the United States senate later that month.
As U.S. attorney, Christie garnered a reputation as a dedicated and efficient lawman. During his his six years in office, he never lost a case, securing 130 convictions against state officials of both parties. Among his most noted corruption cases were the conviction of former state Senate president John Lynch for kickbacks, former Newark mayor Sharpe James for corruption, and the recent conviction of former state senator Wayne Bryant. Christie has also been a leader in the fight against violent crime in New Jersey, prosecuting 45 members of the Double II Bloods gang. In 2007, Christ Christie led the team which foiled a planned terrorist attack on Fort Dix.
In June 2009, Christie won the New Jersey Republican primary to become the official republican candidate in the state's gubernatorial race. As his running mate, he chose Monmouth county sheriff Kim Guadagno. Mrs. Guadagno has also been a leader in the state's fight against corruption and as sheriff of Monmouth county manages a division of 650 members with a $65 million budget.Out of 3088 agencies across the United States, hers is the only one to have earned national accreditation in five major areas of operation.

Bob McDonnell- VA Gubernatorial Candidate
Having served his nation and the state of Virginia for over 30 years, Bob McDonnell is ready to make a difference as the next governor of Virginia. The son of a US Air Force officer, McDonnell grew up in northern Virginia. He attended the University of Notre Dame on an ROTC scholarship and graduated in 1976 with a B.B.A. in management.
McDonnell's career with the military began in 1976 after he graduated from college. McDonnell was assigned to Grafenwohr Germany, where he served as platoon leader with the 2nd armored Division and ran a medical post. McDonnell ultimately served 21 years in the US army either in active duty or as part of the reserves. In 1997, he retired with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
While serving in Germany, McDonnell earned his M.S.B.A. by taking night classes from Boston University. In 1989, he completed masters degree in Public Policy from Regent University School of Law. During the 1980's, McDonnell juggled raising a family, taking classes, serving in the army, and working as business manager at American Hospital Supply Corporation, a Fortune 500 company.
In 1989, McDonnell took a job as a prosecutor at the Virginia Beach Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, where he realized a calling to public service. In 1991, he was elected to the VA House of delegates, defeating a 20 year incumbent to do so. During his service, he was honored by being named the Network of Victims of Crime Legislator of the Year in 1996, The National Child Support Enforcement Association National Legislator of the Year in 1998, The Family Foundation of Virginia’s Legislator of the Year in 1998 and 2001 and the Virginia Sheriff’s Association Legislator of the Year in 2005, according to his official web site. In 1995, Bob was elected Attorney General for the State of Virginia.

During his years of service, Bob has been assisted by his wife of 32 years Maureen McDonnell and his five children. His oldest daughter, Jeanine, has followed in her father's footsteps to serve in the United States army and is a veteran of the Iraq war, having served in Baghdad during 2005 and 2006.
