Spring Semester
Meetings: New time and place
The College Republicans will resume weekly meetings this spring semester on Tuesday nights in Gore Hall, room 222 at 7:00 PM. Due to the Spring Activities Fair, we will be holding our first meeting of the semester on February 16th.
This is a great time to get involved with the College Republicans! In the last few weeks we've seen a huge Republican win in Massachusetts. With this victory, the people of Massachusetts sent a message to President Obama and to Congress. With Democrats struggling to contain the fallout from this Senate race, the recent gubernatorial elections in VA and NJ, and the likely defeat of Health Care Reform, there has never been a better time to be a Republican. This semester, our club is going to keep that momentum going and spread our message on and off campus. As you can see on the right, we have a lot of great events planned for this coming semester, so come out and join us! Hope to see you soon!
State Party Internships
The Delaware Republican Party is offering internships for the spring semester. This is a great time to get involved and to work on the 2010 campaigns! UD also gives Political Science course credit for internships like this. If you are interested, talk to our Republican State Committee contact Seth Wimer at seth@delawaregop.com.
CPAC
The Conservative Political Action Conference is coming up fast. CPAC is an annual gathering of young conservatives in Washington DC. The event always features nationally recognized speakers, and is a great place for networking. The student rate is only $20, so make sure to sign up now if you want to go! CPAC runs from February 18th through 20th.
