A few years back the Delaware tubas were graced by two of the finest gentlemen ever to set foot on this campus. Their influence on this section has lasted for years after they left us. Even today, every time the tubas suit up into uniform, we take a bit of Woody and Alan with us. Tragically, Woody and Alan were killed in an auto crash leaving only a legacy behind. Most of the current tubas never knew Woody or Alan personally, but somehow we all know them in spirit.
