Dave Walton (’09) Strikes Gold at 2010 USRowing Elite National Championships

Mercer Lake, NJ Alumnus Dave Walton competed in the USRowing Elite National Championships this past weekend and won the lightweight quad event, while representing the New York Athletic Club. Walton sat 3 seat in the NYAC boat that finished in 5:59.1, staving off boats from Riverside BC (6:01.1), Undine Barge Club (6:03.8), and GMS Rowing Center (6:07.5). Walton’s performance was the most recent of an alumni group that has represented Delaware Men’s Crew tremendously well this summer.
