Beta Beta is a national biological honor society. Tri-Beta
participates in both academic and social activities throughout the
school year. One of the primary goals of BBB is to offer the
opportunity for members to interact with the biology community on
campus. The meetings and events provide students with the chance
to speak with professors and fellow students outside of the
classroom. Guest speakers at meetings help the students remain
informed about the academic and extra-curricular possibilities open to
them. Students can discuss the pros and cons of various classes.
It is a place for students to get answers to their questions.
Interacting with professors outside of the classroom can be extremely
helpful and enlightening for the students. You will gain valuable
contacts for research, recommendations, and even future jobs. BBB
is an excellent resource for biology majors to keep informed of
opportunities on campus and for non-majors to explore their biology
interest. Feel
