Dr. Lesa Griffiths

Director of the Center for International Studies

In addition to being an advisor for the Animal Science Club, she is the professor for Intro to Animal Science (ANSC101), as well as Swine Production (ANSC418). She also takes a group of students to New Zealand every other winter to study pastoral livestock. She is also currently the advisor for the Equestrian Team.

Ms. Laura Nemec

Department of Animal and Food Science Laboratory Coordinator

Ms. Nemec graduated from Juniata College in 2007 with a Bachelor's in biology and continued on to the University of Delaware. She received her Master's degree here in the spring for 2010 in Animal Science.She is our advisor that attends the yearly NESA competitions with our teams. In addition to advising the club, Ms. Nemec also works with the Animal and Food Science departments to coordinate such labs as our Introduction to Animal Science (ANFS111), Anatomy (ANFS140), and Dairy Production (ANFS404).
