Welcome to Alpha Lambda Delta at the
University of Delaware!
Alpha Lambda Delta is a national honor society that honors academic excellence during a student's first year in college. The purpose of the society is to encourage superior academic achievement among students in their first year in institutions of higher education, to promote intelligent living and a continued high standard of learning, and to assist women and men in recognizing and developing meaningful goals for their roles in society.
Academic standard for eligibility to the University of Delaware's chapter is a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.6 on a 4.0 scale at the conclusion of the first academic year.
ALD UPDATES
Inductions are fast approaching! The ceremony will take place on Sunday, November 9th from 2 to 4 pm in the Trabant Multipurpose Room. You are more than welcome to invite family members to your induction. The attire is business casual, and light refreshments will be served. Please RSVP to Erin Jennings (the new ALD secretary) at emjenn@udel.edu by October 31st, letting her know whether you are attending and how many guests are joining you . Thank you, and we hope you can make it!
