FAQ
The fastest and most direct response will usually be from an elected officer, or SGA member who has served within SGA in years past. If he or she is unsure, feel free to contact the Graduate StUDent Advisor or Dr. Prime with any specific questions. Other information, including contact information or simple procedures, is most likely available on the StUDent Centers or University of Delaware website.
Certain meetings are regular, while others will vary greatly depending on the time of year, your position, and the events on campus at the time. Be sure to clear your schedule for biweekly Senate meetings, and standing committee meetings on the alternate weeks. See the SGA Calendar for other events that you may be expected to attend.
Know SGA’s stance on current UD policies and events, and revert questions to the President if unsure. Be cognizant of what information is shared with SGA exclusively, and what information is open to the public.
See SGA’s Constitution for the years of involvement required of elected positions.
The SGA Office is located at:
223 Trabant University Center
Newark, DE 19716
(302) 831-2648
The office key can be picked up at the Info Desk, or behind the “Cage” with your UD #1 Card. Elected board officers have permanent keys.
If scheduling a meeting in the office, be aware of others’ office hours and have the Director of Operations add it to the SGA Calendar, accessible by all on Gmail.
Feel free to use the office as a study space, but please be courteous to others and remove all personal items when you leave the office. SGA matters always take precedence over personal work. Avoid using the SGA printers for personal use.
