About: Jessica Borcky is very excited and honored to represent the undergraduate students this year. Jessica has been involved with the StUDent Government Association since her sophomore year, and served as the Chief of Staff her junior year. She is looking forward to leading a visible and inspired SGA with actions stemming from student initiatives and input so that students' voices are heard. Outside of SGA, Jessica is a Teaching Assistant for a Public Policy course and a Blue Hen Ambassador. In her free time, she enjoys cheering on the Fightin' Blue Hens, visiting Washington, D.C., and playing intramural volleyball.

About: Danielle Imhoff is so enthused to be back for her third year with the StUDent Government Association. She is passionate about making the University of Delaware as comfortable and at its best for all students. She is looking forward to her position as the Executive Vice President and hopes to have interesting and distinguished guest speakers at the Undergraduate Student Senate. Danielle is also involved in the Honors Program Writing Fellows, Alpha Xi Delta Sorority, and the National Residence Hall Honorary. She has previously served on the Resident Student Association Executive Board. Danielle looks forward to a year full of positive changes and students' voices being heard!

About: Ben is excited to be back for a third year in the StUDent Government Assocation. He previously served as a Progamming Senator and a Public Relations Senator. About: Javier Horstmann has been involved in SGA in his freshman year. Javier has been an active member in making sure that the organization is moving to allow more students to be involved and make sure that every student has their voices heard! Javier is very excited to continue to grow the new structure of SGA in its second year. He looks forward to making sure that all students feel that they are being represented to the fullest of the abilities of SGA. In his spare time, he enjoys attending Blue Hen sporting events, and listening to music.

About: Stephanie Schmidt served as a Student Affairs Senator last year on SGA. In addition to SGA, Steph is on the Student Board of Advisors for the Roosevelt Institute | Campus Network and helped start a chapter of this organization at UD. Steph is also a member of Alpha Delta Pi, National Residence Hall Honorary, and Kappa Delta Pi (Education Honor Society). Additionally, Steph served as a Resident Assistant for the past two years. Steph is so excited to be on the cabinet of the StUDent Government Association and can't wait to work with everyone to make positive changes on campus this year!

Dr. Marilyn Prime

Advisor

Dr. Prime serves as the StUDent Government Association’s advisor. Liaising between the faculty and staff of the University of Delaware and the StUDent Government Association, her leadership is integral to the success of SGA. Dr. Prime was awarded the Frank Harris Outstanding StUDent Government Adviser Award in February of 2008, awarding her excellence in student government advisement, leadership, dedication, and student rapport.

Previously, Dr. Prime has served both as assistant dean of students for freshmen women’s residences and advisor to UD’s programming board. She earned a bachelor’s degree in music and a master’s degree in counseling and student development from Miami University of Ohio, and a doctoral degree in educational leadership from the University of Delaware. While she’s not diligently working at her desk, she enjoys jazzercising, riding her motorcycle, and collecting miscellaneous cow paraphernalia. The StUDent Government Association is both honored and privileged to once again be under her guidance.
