Harlem Globetrotters Shot Contest

Some Lucky Students won tickets for the Harlem Globetrotters game at the Bob Carpenter Center in March.

Last December 5 in the Perkin’s Gallery we raffled a variety of different gift baskets ranging from Starbucks items to school supplies.

Hoops for Hope Basketball Tournament

Last semester we held a 3 on 3 basketball tournament on Thursday December 8 5pm-8pm at Little Bob Gym 2. 8 teams of 3-5 people came out. We raised more than $120 at the event. The money raised from the tournament will be going to the AI Dupont Children's hospital.

Spring 2005

Last year we had many successful fundraisers that helped us raise more than $1000 to help fight cancer. These are a few of the events that we held last year.

Kickball Tournament

Last April, a few dozen people came out to a great outdoor event at the Little Bob athletic fields. Prizes were given out to raffle ticket winners including a gift basket from Bloom and gift certificates to many area restaurants.

Vocal Point Concert

One of our great events last year was a co-sponsored event with an a-cappella group on campus called Vocal Point. We helped them usher and sell tickets and in return they gave us a portion of their earnings for the night. It was a great time had by all including some magnificent music performed by the co-ed music group

Cold Stone Creamery and Red Robin

Members of Educate for a Cure got the opportunity to scoop ice cream for their friends, not once, but twice last year during the Spring. Believe it or not, people seem to love ice cream. We made over $300 just from the two days we worked there. Another fundraiser was held at Red Robin last year. Everyone came to eat and helped raise money for the organization.

Basketball Tournament

Held in March as well. We had 8 teams play. The defending champs from the first tournament also won the second tournament. Congrats! Thanks for coming out!
