Join the Climate Hub as we explore the connection between climate and games on Friday, April 11th from 10am to 4pm! This event includes:
- open play time and competitions in the Esports Arena featuring climate and social impact-focused video games including the Climate Trail, Papers, Please!, and Never Alone
- climate-themed board games including Daybreak and Catan: New Energies
- workshops with Dr. Daria Kluver from Central Michigan University's Center for Learning through Games and Simulations (and the nation's only academic games press) on rapid prototyping and climate escape room puzzle creation
Whether you're interested in climate change, social impact, video or board games, education, or just want to see what the hype is about - this event is for you! Celebrate as part of Worldwide Climate Education Week.
