Harry Jiannan Wang is an Assistant Professor of Management Information Systems in the Lerner College of Business and Economics, University of Delaware. He is also an affiliate research faculty member of the Lab on Enterprise Process Innovation and Computing (EPIC Lab) at the University of Arizona. He received a Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from Eller College of Management, University of Arizona and a B.S. in MIS from Tianjin University, China.
His research interests involve business process management, workflow technologies and applications, service-oriented architecture, web services, and access control in e-commerce. He has published several research articles in these areas in journals and conferences including International Journal of Web Services Research, Communication of the AIS, International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), Workshop on Information Technology and Systems (WITS), International Conference on Web Services (ICWS), and Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS), etc .
He is currently teaching programming and system analysis and design at the University of Delaware. Prior joining UD, he taught database management and business process management at the University of Arizona. He won two teaching awards from the Department of MIS at the University of Arizona, including 2005 James F. LaSalle Award for Teaching Excellence and 2005 MIS Instructor of the Year.
