- About
Philanthropic support invigorates campus life, enhancing the experiences, programs and opportunities available to all Blue Hens. Financially supporting the Parents Fund offers parents and families a meaningful way to influence and shape the UD student experience—not just for their own student, but for the entire student body of Blue Hens.
The Parents Fund provides the Division of Student Life with valuable resources to support its mission of advancing equity, fostering student development and creating an unparalleled student experience. By aligning with the Division’s strategic priorities, including racial equity and inclusion, seamless student experience and graduate student success, your support helps UD students thrive throughout their lives, both academically and holistically.
Creating an Unparalleled Student Experience
Your contribution to the Parents Fund will help provide:
- An enriched first-year experience
- Mental health and wellbeing resources
- Support for racial equity and inclusion initiatives
- Enhanced opportunities for student engagement and leadership development
- Experiential education and internship opportunities
Your support will not only enrich students' time on campus but will also offer thousands of unique opportunities for them to discover their identities and passions, manage their wellbeing and engage with diverse communities. This empowers them to grow into successful individuals prepared for a lifetime of achievement and impact.
“I can't name a better space on campus to work, study and unwind. I’d like to thank the donors who supported the Wellbeing Center for helping to create a safe space for students whether they are seeking services, needing meeting space or attending a program to learn about wellness. There is always something going on in the center, and everyone is welcome!
-Kendall Ludwig, AS24, Student Wellbeing Ambassador
