Entrepreneurship and Innovation: Certificate

Launching innovative new ventures either on your own, working for an emerging company or for a large enterprise, requires an entrepreneurial outlook. The ability to thrive amidst rapid change and chart a path forward helps professionals recognize opportunity and generate new ideas in any setting.

The graduate certificate program in entrepreneurship and innovation at the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics allows working professionals to develop the entrepreneurial mindset, influence, skills and understanding needed to bring new ideas to the marketplace. Students take the same courses offered in the Lerner MBA and learn how to effectively use hands-on experience to practice the skills needed to launch a startup, innovate for an established company or develop sustainable solutions to important social problems.

Both professionals who have previously earned an MBA and those who wish to develop specialized expertise to advance or redirect their career will benefit from this program.
