Living in Our Halls
When you live in the residence halls, you become part of a community rich in history and tradition. Whether you will live in one of our historic buildings or one of our newer halls, you will have one important thing in common with everyone in our residential community: excellence. Students who live on campus consistently earn higher grades, feel more supported and are more involved with the UD community.
2024–2025 Housing Rates
All students assigned to residence halls will be charged one of our published rates for the assigned hall and room type. A charge of $4,550.00 on your student account means that you were billed for housing, but you have not yet been charged for your specific assignment. Your charge will be adjusted once the billing functions for the term have been completed.

The traditional residence halls without air conditioning include: Brown, Cannon, Harrington, Harter, Lane, New Castle, Russell, Smyth, and Thompson.
